About this Raddle

Costa Rica means "rich coast" in Spanish, and it contains roughly 5% of the world's biodiversity onto just 0.03% of the planet's land surface, with about a quarter of its territory set aside as protected parks and reserves. It's also one of the few nations on Earth with no standing army, which it abolished in 1948.

Theme: Central America

Five Central American countries all celebrate independence on September 15, because they were governed together as the Captaincy General of Guatemala and broke from Spain with a single declaration signed in Guatemala City in 1821.
