About this Raddle

Fish and chips, the iconic spot of pub grub comprised of fried fish (usually cod or haddock) and chips (what Americans might call “fries”), was borne of two elements brought to England by immigrants: fried white fish from Sephardic Jewish refugees in the 16th century and fried cut potatoes brought from Belgium in the late 17th century.
